I've been way busy, it's not even funny! This trip update now is one month late :(
Because it was pretty evident that I was pretty upset that the boy wasn't going with me on the day trip, he decided to take me out and treat me to Daidomon buffet.

It was pretty worth it i guess, we ordered many plates of beef, regretted the pork and everything amounted up to about $100++? I've never seen wern so full he almost refused to walk. Hahahhaa

Our next stop was the Ostrich Farm, which was one of the highlights. So imagine my disappointment when we finally "reached our stop"... reallllyyy?!!?!?!
It looked absolutely dubious and lok kok and some kampung home. I had a bad feeling we were just going to walk into a kampung home and watch a black and white documentary.
This was the first thing we had to pass when we entered. Shock of my life.

During the tour, we acutally "caught" a firefly and had it rest on our palms! I swear that happened! I also took a photo but its just a greenish glow on a black canvas no one is going to believe me :( HAHAHAHA I showed it to someone (forgot who) and the person totally snubbed it and laughed it off :(

took these two photos when i first tried on my new blue contacts. Am so not going to bother about being "subtle" anymore, the blues and browns just dont appear on my eyes! My original eye colour is almost jet black so it darkens every coloured contact i put on :(

dear trusty white MacBook. Yes, this baby might not have a name, he might be yellowish/grey, 2.5 years old but he has endured with me through really tough times. Rushing for my IDM module yesterday, i spilt about
300ml of water onto my keyboard.
Water started flowing out from the air vents, i turned the com upside down and water poured out -.- decided to put it under the hair dryer but then the computer just overheated. Then i checked the battery compartment and calamity!!! There was even water inside! I thought he'll never survive...
I'm still hoping my lil machine will be fine, It doesn't seem to be charging now, and it sounds like an aeroplane ready to take off, but i guess it's better than no macbook at all.
next up, my day trip with my family to Desaru!

Tweeted about this a while back,
Radioheatwave.com sent Cheryl (my co-host this sem!) and myself to the
Pixar exhibition! All we had to do was talk about it on air after! :) How awesome is that! Entry tickets are about $20/pax for adults.
I had to go down to the
Science centre myself from school and it was a nostalgic feeling. The west generally isn't my area and the last time I came to the science centre was in.. Primary school?
Pixar all arounddd!
I remember in this area they used to have this hugeeee "experiment" where wheels turned and metal balls rolled here and there. Oh dear, am I even making sense?

Didn't take any photos inside but it's alot of sketches, storyboards and models. It's crazy how they call it sketches cause they totally look like something that i would have to take time to draw and all. The people at pixar are really insanely talented.
It's really not that much for kids though, as much as I enjoyed it.

11 June 2010Headed to *Scape for yet another DPA meetup, this time with a larger turnout!

After entertaining ourselves for about 1.5 hours, everyone finally arrived and we headed to the Music Cafe by Swee Lee on Level 3.
The place and food is so-so but the prices are really really worth it. Most of the girls ordered a burger set, which came with a drink (coke/lemon tea) and fries and the total price was $4.90?!

Upon walking out, Jon (cary's boyf) appeared out of nowhere (like he usually does) and then impromptu plans were made to head down to Esplanade for drinks.
We ended up at 7atenine
Ordered food and drinks and then my camera died. HAAAAA. I'm really enjoying our food/drinks date! It has gone on for about a month so far? Hopefully we still can make time for it when school starts Monday D:
P/S: Next update would probably be my activities at *Scape. Curious what I've been up to? ^^
